Adam Roy's review of Video Motion Pro.

If you heard about Video Motion Pro online or in an email and want to know more about it, this review will tell you everything you need to know about creating powerful videos with this new program.

VMP is a video creation and editing software that offers an array of unique features you won’t find in any other alternatives currently on the market.  It was developed by Josh Ratta from InMotionTech LTD to give marketers and business owners of any skill level the ability to create high quality, professional grade videos of all kinds without any design or editing skills.

The creators, Josh Ratta and Rohit Shah from InMotionTech have committed the past 2 years to the development and official launch of the software, which is proving to create quite the stir in the industry.  With alternative video creation and editing software like Adobe After Effects and Camtasia costing hundreds of dollars in their most basic form, VMP might just give them a run for their money.

Scheduled Video Motion Pro Release DateThe official Video Motion Pro release date was on April 21st, 2015 (11:00am EST to be exact).

This official release came with a 7 day pre-launch so there's no question that the creators have done a good job at creating some anticipation and excitement while exhibiting exactly what the software can do.

The initial launch was a huge success and resulted in just under $1 million in sales for InMotionTech within the first 7 days.  That comes as no big surprise either, I purchased the software myself and am very impressed so far.

Here are some of the key features that caught my interest:

  • Built-in screen capture
  • Video editing timeline
  • Green screen editing
  • Insert logo strings
  • "Lower third" animations
  • Automatic Youtube upload

This software is incredible and unique because it allows you to create all types of content like sales videos, whiteboard videos, or PPT videos... You can even produce training, support or profitable instructional videos you can post on sites like Udemy ( and SkillFeed (

What can you do with Video Motion Pro?

Prior to the official launch Josh Ratta released a closed demonstration to his close partners and affiliates.  Obviously I can't fit the full list of features in my review but those are the ones that caught my eye.

When you start creating videos with VMP you'll be pleased with the simple to use interface and how easily you can implement these great features.  The GUI is't overly complicated like similar tools on the market and I think that's going to be a huge selling point for them.

Built-in screen capture for training content.

It's no longer just about creating sales and promotional videos.  With this you can seamlessly record your screen then use it to produce high-quality content for your membership sites, tutorials, support desk documentation, and over-the-shoulder video courses you can turn into info products and sell.

Josh seems to push the fact that you can sell your videos without restrictions in any way you choose.  Which includes posting them on sites like and must pay to access select training posted by entrepreneurs like you and I.

Video editing timeline to edit videos in real-time.

The video editing timeline is where you can make adjustments, cuts, edits, and include additional elements like images, text, audio and more within the Video Motion Pro software.  The interface makes it simple and straight forward to achieve the precise end result you're looking for without all the extra overhead, complicated layouts and extra buttons.

I would compare the 'look and feel' of the video editor timeline to the timeline editor used in Camtasia.

Logo strings and lower third animations

The extremely simple insertion of logo strings and lower third animations into your videos is one of the unique features that won't come included in alternative options.

Logo strings are typically those 'intro' or 'outro' clips in your video where your logo shows up with some kind of effect.  If you're familiar with Fiverr, you'll see lots of them in the "intros" and "commercials" section of the website.  This is how you brand your content and create awareness for your business.

"Lower thirds" are those boxed messages you see at the bottom of videos that usually include a big headline, scrolling text or the name of the narrator.  You'll see these used all the time on television news and very frequently on cable television where the network promotes upcoming shows or movies.

Here's a demonstration video:

Everything produced is white label and there is no branding on these videos except for your own.  So just this alone (as simple as it may be), is one of the biggest features you'll be taking advantage of when you buy it.
